The water will need to be changed daily as they will also defecate (poop) in there and we do not want them drinking that! Several branches for climbing to the basking spot, a hide to feel secure and a mulch substrate that will hold humidity.
What type of lighting and heating do I need? A basking spot as high as 100'F with a surrounding temperature of 75'F - 90'F. A cool spot is needed. A full spectrum UVB lighting that is unfiltered. Keep humidity between 50% and 65% but no more than 75% humidity as this will cause respiratory infections.
